Elite Superstars Entertainment aims to introduce its new product to its target audience through various advertising strategies. The new product will be marketed and advertised to our primary audience, which is the hip-hop community. The following mediums such as web advertising, radio ads, and word of mouth, both traditional and non-traditional, will be used to aid us in reaching out to our target audience. These mediums are selected because they are an effective way to reach our target audience.
As we know, independent music labels are independently funded and are not connected to the big major labels. Despite the struggle of most independent music labels not getting exposure in the market, few labels are able to survive. Elite Superstars Entertainment has brainstormed an integrated marketing communications strategy (IMC) to become one the few indie labels who are successful. In doing so, Elite Superstars Entertainment will increase brand awareness, increase market share, and increase sales using our IMC plan.
One of Elite Superstars strategy is Web advertising. We have created a brochure about the company, which includes our goals, what we bring to the market, and other inquires for out target audience. Our brochure will be spread through banner advertisement, pay-per-click, and pop-ups on the Internet. Most of our Internet advertising will be presented through Google because they own the most of the market on search engines. The average cost per click in Google Ads is between $1 and $2 on the search network.
The average CPC (cost-per-click) on the Display Network is under $1. The average small business using AdWords spends between $9,000 and $10,000 per month on their Google paid search campaigns. That's $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Word of mouth is another strategy Elite Superstars will take in. Using free sites such as YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn, and Facebook. We will hope to get viral media, shared links, and likes via Facebook to gain brand awareness. Radio broadcasting is another strategy that will be used. An effective size campaign on a popular station could cost $500 per week in a small town. Yet, in a large city you can expect to pay $8,000. Elite Superstars will base its radio advertisement on a small tall, most likely to be in California. Radio ads cost seem to vary based on the demographics of listeners. We will need to base our ads on the hip-hop community in order to receive brand awareness and profit.
